About
Longacre’s Consulting Services
Longacre’s Consulting Services partners with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations to design practical, high-impact workforce development solutions. With extensive experience across K–12 education, community colleges, and employer-led training, the firm specializes in registered apprenticeships, earn-and-learn models, and career pathways aligned to high-priority occupations. Our work helps organizations build strong talent pipelines, advance equity and access, and steward public and private resources responsibly—while supporting good jobs, safe working conditions, and family-sustaining wages.
Founded and led by Kyle Longacre, Longacre’s Consulting Services is grounded in a deep commitment to service, training, and economic opportunity. Kyle brings more than thirty years of experience as an educator, administrator, and workforce leader, with a proven track record of building effective employer–education partnerships and securing and implementing grant-funded initiatives. Guided by the belief that workforce systems should serve both people and communities, the firm focuses on solutions that strengthen local economies, promote long-term sustainability, and create clear, accessible pathways to meaningful careers.
Kyle lives and works in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, where he is actively engaged in farming alongside his wife, Maggie, and their two children, Ella and Kai, growing vegetables and flowers together. He is deeply committed to community service and currently serves on the board of the Salford Mennonite Child Care Center. Kyle previously served on the Montgomery County Workforce Development Board, where he chaired the Youth Workforce Committee, and also led the Pennsylvania Association of Community Colleges’ Workforce Leaders Group, contributing to statewide workforce strategy and collaboration.
